Ours is a period of continuing globalization. The global corporate rule is now facilitated by international law, treaties and a network of supra-national organisations (IMF, World Bank, WTO, GATT) that have created the legal, economic and political framework for this rule. Because of this domination that has brought devastation to the overwhelming mass of humanity a new mass movement has sprung up across the planet in resistance.
